Desktop Support TechnicianWe are seeking a multi-faceted individual who can provide desktop and network support for our clients, who are mostly small to mid-sized businesses. All of our clients have Microsoft environments and a few have some Apple technology, as well. As an IT Support Specialist at Alpine Business Systems, you must have strong communication skills to interact with all levels of professionals at our client sites. The ideal candidate has strong consulting and troubleshooting skills.*You will be working both at customer sites as well as remotely from our office headquarters. You must be willing to travel to client sites several days a week at times. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. The candidate must be able to diagnose and remediate hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, servers, smart phones, printers, and other IT related issues. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience troubleshooting issues on WIN XP, Windows 7 and 8, Win2003 and Win2008 servers, small business servers, Exchange, DNS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suites, network switches and routers, configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP issues.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and prioritizing the cases that are assigned to you depending upon severity, customer*s contract service level agreement and importance of the client.
- Trouble shooting all types of computer and network related issues
- Understanding your limits of knowledge and willingness to collaborate with team members to expedite the resolution for the client
- Communicating to the client in an effective manner the resolutions for the issues

Senior Network EngineerYour responsibilities will include high level VMWare implementations, Microsoft AD architecture and servers, as well as switches, routers, firewalls, smartphones, tablets, and our monitoring and management platforms. You will also work closely with our team of help desk technicians, serving as a leader and technical resource for them, when an issue is beyond their scope and level of expertise. The ideal Senior Network Engineer will have 4-5 years of high level Microsoft AD and server experience as well as experience with desktop support. You must be able to switch gears quickly between AD, servers, firewalls, desktops, etc. You must be able to work under pressure and to prioritize and multi-task. Your role will be to work closely with other Senior Engineers as a team, as well as our Tier 1 and 2 help desk consultants.
